\ About Jefferson Energy

Panels aren’t the
product — trust is.

A good install is table stakes. A team that shows up on time with enthusiasm and energy, sweats every detail, finishes like they start, and sticks around if something goes wrong....that’s in short supply. And that’s what makes Jefferson Energy different.
See How We Work
Where installs go wrong:
Missed timelines
Change orders
Low-skill crews
No accountability
How we avoid it:
We build detailed schedules we can actually keep. Then we execute.
We obsess over scope clarity and contracts up front.
Invest in people. Self-perform critical scope.  In-house NABCEP-certified pros.
We put our name on our work. We’re playing a long-game.

Home2Suites
120 kW

Jefferson Electric brought solar to this nationally recognized hotel brand’s location in Brownsburg. The 120 kW rooftop array offsets the property's energy use while demonstrating that even big brands can go green in small-town Indiana.

Sheridan High School
1.8 MW

Jefferson Electric served as the electrical contractor for the ground-mounted systems and provided both electrical and mechanical contracting services for the rooftop arrays across three campuses in the Sheridan school district, totaling 1.8 megawatts. This hybrid deployment of rooftop and ground-mounted solar significantly offsets district-wide energy consumption. The installation helps the district reduce long-term energy expenses while demonstrating a commitment to sustainability for students and the surrounding community. By enhancing operational efficiency and integrating clean energy, the project supports both fiscal responsibility and educational engagement.

North Putnam High School
1.1 MW

This advanced solar project at North Putnam High School combines a 1.1 MW array with a sophisticated SCADA control system and 500 kWh of onsite energy storage. Jefferson Electric solved complex technical integration challenges across monitoring, communications, and load management. The result is a highly resilient and intelligent energy system that reduces demand charges and supports long-term grid independence. It stands as a leading example of multi-dimensional energy planning in K-12 education.

Subaru of Indiana
125 kW

Jefferson Electric partnered with Subaru’s Technical Training Center in Lafayette to install a 125 kW rooftop solar system. The project supports Subaru’s larger vision for workforce development and environmental leadership. The clean energy system reduces the facility’s operating footprint and demonstrates practical sustainability in technical training environments.

Allen County Public Library
352 kW

One of Indiana’s largest public library solar projects, this 351.64 kW rooftop array supports the Allen County Public Library’s environmental leadership and long-term fiscal responsibility. Jefferson Electric is proud to partner with ACPL on this landmark municipal installation.

Kittle Property Group
120 kW

Jefferson Electric partnered with Kittle Property Group to install rooftop solar on their Indianapolis headquarters. The 120 kW system lowers energy costs and reinforces their commitment to sustainability across their national multifamily housing portfolio.

Hamilton Place Apartments
245 kW

Jefferson Electric delivered a 245 kW solar rooftop system at Hamilton Place, a multi-family housing complex in Arcadia. This installation supports affordable, sustainable living by lowering utility costs for residents and reducing the building’s environmental impact. It represents a smart energy upgrade for Indiana’s growing multi-family housing sector.

Lippert (Formerly Furrion)
188 kW

Lippert’s commitment to innovation and sustainability is embodied in this 188 kW rooftop solar array. Designed and installed by Jefferson Electric, the system complements Lippert’s forward-thinking culture and reduces operational emissions. The project reflects a strategic investment in clean power by one of Elkhart’s most respected manufacturers.

Sheridan Community Schools

UP Holdings
155 kW

This visually striking 155 kW solar array brings clean energy to Alder Place, a modern multi-family development in East Chicago. Jefferson Electric worked with UP Development to create a system that delivers both form and function—enhancing the property’s aesthetics while meeting its sustainability goals. It’s a strong statement of solar integration in high-density housing.

Frequently Asked Questions

/ FAQ
What level of detail do you provide during pre-construction?

We support early-stage underwriting with preliminary layouts, pricing, and scope. As the project matures, we provide detailed budgets, schedules, and permitting timelines to support RFP responses and capital planning.

/ FAQ
How do you support developer timelines and exit goals?

We align design, procurement, and construction milestones to meet your deadlines, whether you're building to own or planning a project sale at NTP or COD. Our documentation supports investor and tax equity requirements.

/ FAQ
Can I claim the Domestic Content Bonus on this project?

We track qualified U.S.-made components and can design to meet domestic content thresholds. We'll advise if your bill of materials qualifies for the additional 10% ITC and support the documentation required for compliance.

/ FAQ
Can you help us navigate permitting and interconnection?

Yes. Jefferson Energy manages the entire entitlement process, including AHJ permitting, utility interconnection applications, and timeline coordination, ensuring a clean handoff to NTP or COD with minimal friction.

/ FAQ
What incentives and tax credits can I stack to improve project economics?

Most projects qualify for the 30% ITC, MACRS depreciation, and potentially a 10% domestic content bonus. Additional layers may include Energy Community, Low-Income, or Section 48C credits. We help model and structure the capital stack to maximize return.
